    About Us

Union FC is a Canadian soccer organisation based in Bradford, Ontario. Established in 2020, it was formed through a collaboration between Bradford Soccer Club and DFC Academy, bringing together their coaching resources, player-development experience and shared vision for soccer. The organisation operates under the Union FC brand, with Union Sports Management Limited established to administer the day-to-day operations of the collaborating organisations. Soccer activities are delivered through Bradford Soccer Club and DFC Academy within their respective districts. Union FC aims to provide opportunities for Canadians of different ages, backgrounds and abilities to participate in soccer, from grassroots and recreational programmes to academy and high-performance competitive football. Its programmes include youth recreational soccer, house leagues, indoor soccer, adult soccer and academy development. The academy pathway is designed to develop players progressively through grassroots formats and advanced competitive programmes, with opportunities to participate in leagues and tournaments. The club follows a coaching methodology influenced by tactical periodisation and seeks to develop technically skilled players with a strong understanding of the game. It also places importance on qualified coaching, long-term player development, teamwork, enjoyment and community engagement. A further objective is to create pathways for talented players to pursue collegiate soccer and scholarships in North America, as well as opportunities to progress towards professional football. Union FC describes itself as an inclusive organisation that welcomes participants regardless of age, gender, race, heritage, religion, orientation or ability. The club also highlights its connection with the local community and the achievements of players developed through its partner organisations, including progression to professional clubs and national-level football. Through its recreational and competitive programmes, Union FC seeks to strengthen local participation while supporting the development of talented Canadian players.
