SK Puntigamer Sturm Graz, commonly known as SK Sturm Graz, is an Austrian professional football club based in Graz, Styria. The club was founded on 1 May 1909 and has developed into one of Austria’s leading football institutions. Its official identity is strongly associated with the colours black and white and the club’s long-standing “Sturm spirit”. Sturm describes itself as an independent, member-driven sporting organisation with a strong family character and a particular commitment to youth development and active club life.  The club operates extensive sporting structures covering men’s and women’s football as well as youth development. Its academy, AKA Steiermark – Sturm Graz, is an important part of the club’s talent-development system, with the current academy programme continuing to produce and develop young players. The club also operates a women’s football structure competing at Austria’s highest level. Sturm Graz has established itself as a major force in Austrian football, regularly competing in European competitions and maintaining a substantial professional sporting and administrative operation. Its current first team competes in the Austrian Bundesliga, while the club’s European programme includes UEFA competition.
