    About Us

Servette FC 1890 is a historic professional football club based in the Geneva region of Switzerland. Founded in 1890, the club is one of the country's most successful and historically significant football organisations. Servette has built a strong identity around Geneva and the wider French-speaking part of Switzerland and is widely recognised by its traditional garnet colours and the nickname “Les Grenat.” The club competes in Swiss professional football and plays its home matches at the Stade de Genève in Lancy, near Geneva. Servette has enjoyed considerable domestic success throughout its history, winning numerous Swiss championship titles and Swiss Cup trophies. The organisation has also represented Switzerland in European competitions on numerous occasions. A major part of Servette's modern sporting strategy is its emphasis on youth development. The club operates the Servette FC Academy, which is dedicated to identifying, training and developing talented young players. Servette also maintains relationships with partner clubs, including Étoile Carouge and FC Meyrin, creating a broader regional pathway for player development. The academy and development structure are central to the club's objective of producing players capable of progressing into professional football. In addition to men's football, the wider Servette structure includes Servette FCCF, the women's football section, which competes at the highest level of Swiss women's football. The club also operates extensive hospitality, business and entertainment activities around its professional football operation. Servette works with more than 100 corporate partners and provides business-club and hospitality opportunities at the Stade de Genève. Its workforce covers sporting operations, management, youth development, hospitality and gastronomy, reflecting the organisation's broad commercial and sporting activities. Servette FC also participates in community and inclusion initiatives, using football as a platform for social participation and regional engagement. The club's identity is strongly connected to Geneva, reflected in its motto “Notre Ville, Notre Club” — “Our City, Our Club.” Today, Servette FC 1890 combines professional men's football, elite youth development, women's football, community engagement, hospitality, commercial partnerships and entertainment, while maintaining a heritage stretching back more than 130 years.
