Orlando City SC is a professional American soccer club based in Orlando, Florida, and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS). The organisation was founded in 2010 and joined MLS as the league’s 21st franchise in November 2013, becoming the first MLS club from the Southeast region. The Lions began MLS competition in March 2015 and subsequently established themselves as a major professional sports organisation in Central Florida. In 2017, the club moved into its privately owned downtown stadium, now known as Inter.co Stadium. The organisation's activities extend beyond the MLS first team. Orlando City operates a player-development pathway that includes its youth academy and Orlando City B (OCB), which was relaunched in 2022 as a founding member of MLS NEXT Pro to provide a bridge between the academy and first team. The club also operates extensive commercial, marketing, ticketing, partnership, digital, community and event-management activities.
