IK Oddevold is a Swedish football club based in Uddevalla, Västra Götaland. Founded in 1932, the club has developed into an established football organisation with a strong regional identity in Bohuslän. The club’s activities extend beyond senior football and include children’s and youth football, elite football, parafootball and community engagement. IK Oddevold’s stated ambition is to be a model organisation within Swedish elite football, combining regional roots with strong social involvement and a sustainable sporting structure. The club aims to provide a developing football environment for children and young players while becoming the natural choice for talented players in the region from the age of 16 onwards. Youth development is therefore an important part of its long-term sporting strategy. The club has more than 500 active players between the ages of 5 and 19 and continues to develop its girls’ football programme alongside its established boys’ activities. IK Oddevold also operates parafootball, providing an inclusive football environment for participants with different abilities. The senior men's team competes in Superettan, Sweden’s second tier, and plays its home matches at Rimnersvallen in Uddevalla. The club has experienced several successful periods in Swedish football, including winning Division 1 Södra in 1995 and 2023 and reaching Sweden’s top division, Allsvenskan, in the 1990s. In addition to sporting activities, IK Oddevold has developed a substantial network of local and regional business partners. The club organises networking activities and community-focused events that connect businesses, supporters, players and the wider Uddevalla community. Its philosophy emphasises pride, tradition, regional connection and social responsibility. Through its football academy and youth structure, IK Oddevold focuses on long-term player development and recently advertised for an academy manager with overall responsibility for its youth and academy operations. The organisation therefore combines competitive football, youth development, parafootball, community programmes and commercial partnerships, maintaining a strong local presence while competing at the national professional level.
