    About Us

Internacional Huesca, also known as Escuela de Fútbol Huesca, is an international football academy based in Huesca, Aragón, Spain. Founded in 1998 by José Abarca Laborda, the academy was established to provide children and young people with opportunities to learn football while developing the values associated with sport. Its programmes combine football training, personal development and competitive participation, with a focus on nurturing players across different age groups and ability levels. The academy has developed an international environment, welcoming players from different countries and encouraging cultural exchange through football. It reports approximately 320 players and has built a community centred on technical development, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship. Internacional Huesca participates in football competitions across various categories and aims to help young players progress in their sporting journeys. Its development philosophy emphasises both athletic improvement and personal growth, recognising the importance of education, responsibility and confidence alongside football skills. The academy has also highlighted the progress of former players who have advanced to professional football or obtained sports scholarships at universities. These pathways reflect its ambition to provide young athletes with opportunities beyond their initial training experience. Based in Huesca, the organisation benefits from the city's football culture and its location in northeastern Spain. It collaborates with other football-development organisations to expand opportunities for international players and strengthen its training environment. Through its coaching programmes, competitive teams, international partnerships and emphasis on individual development, Internacional Huesca contributes to grassroots and youth football in the region. Its broader objective is to create an environment where young footballers can improve their abilities, experience team sport and pursue further opportunities in football while developing qualities that are valuable beyond the pitch.
