Heracles Almelo is a Dutch professional football club based in Almelo, Overijssel, Netherlands. Founded on 3 May 1903, the club is among the older football organisations in the Netherlands and has a long-standing connection with the Twente region. Its name was inspired by the Greek mythological hero Heracles.
