About Us

FK VIAGEM Ústí nad Labem is a professional football club based in Ústí nad Labem in the Czech Republic. The club traces its football heritage to the early history of organised football in the city and is listed by the Czech Football Association with a founding year of 1927. The club’s own historical retrospective explains that the modern post-war organisation was formally established as Český sportovní klub Ústí nad Labem on 6 August 1945, while continuing a longer local football tradition. Over its history, the club has competed at multiple levels of Czech and Czechoslovak football and has twice reached the former Czechoslovak First League, including the 1952 and 1958/59 seasons. 

Today, FK VIAGEM operates as a professional football organisation with its legal entity registered as FK VIAGEM Ústí nad Labem, a.s. The club is headquartered at Městský stadion Ústí nad Labem on Masarykova Street. Its sole shareholder is VIAGEM, a.s., and the organisation combines the professional first team with a substantial youth structure. The club’s official website currently lists teams ranging from U6 through the first team, with 16 teams across its football structure. 

The club underwent a major ownership and branding transformation in 2023, when VIAGEM acquired FK Ústí nad Labem and the club adopted the name FK VIAGEM Ústí nad Labem. The rebrand was accompanied by an unusually prominent marketing strategy designed to increase the club’s visibility beyond traditional football audiences. The club has subsequently developed its own media production, podcasts, YouTube programming and social-media content, making entertainment and digital communication an important part of its identity.
