Eintracht Frankfurt is a historic German football organisation based in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse. Its roots date to 1899, and the organisation has developed into one of Germany’s best-known multi-sport clubs, with football forming its most prominent professional sporting operation. The professional football division is operated by Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG, a corporation that is a subsidiary of the parent club, Eintracht Frankfurt e.V. The football company was established on 1 July 2000 and is responsible for the club’s professional football operations.

The men’s first team competes in the Bundesliga and plays its home matches at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt. Eintracht Frankfurt has a distinguished domestic and European history, including its German championship triumph in 1959, five DFB-Pokal victories and two UEFA Cup/Europa League titles, in 1980 and 2022. The club’s 2022 UEFA Europa League success was particularly significant, securing a major European trophy and reinforcing Eintracht’s status as an established European football institution.
