Commonly known as “The Shots,” the club was established in 1992 following the closure of the original Aldershot Football Club. It was formed to preserve senior football in the town and maintain the strong connection between local supporters and the game. The club plays its home matches at the EBB Stadium, located on High Street in Aldershot.

Aldershot Town has a strong local identity and a supporter base connected to the town’s sporting heritage and military history. Its red and blue colours are closely associated with the club and its supporters.
Beyond first-team football, Aldershot Town operates youth and academy programmes intended to develop young players and provide opportunities to progress within the game. The club also has women’s football activity and community-focused initiatives. Its community work is supported by The Shots Foundation, which aims to create opportunities through football, education, inclusion, fundraising and engagement with schools, community groups, charities and other local organisations.
The club also provides commercial opportunities for local and national partners through sponsorship, advertising, matchday hospitality, venue hire and fan-engagement activities. Its stadium facilities host football-related events and hospitality experiences alongside regular matchdays.
Aldershot Town combines competitive senior football with youth development and community engagement. As a club formed in 1992, it represents the continuation of football in Aldershot after the original club’s closure and remains an established part of the town’s sporting life.
