We are entering a new era at Tottenham with a new club strategy, new leadership, and a focus on putting our fans at the heart of everything we do as we continue to strengthen our connection with our DNA, our home, and each other.

We’re at our brightest when we’re all together. Our Club, our teams, our community.

Job Purpose

We’re looking for an ambitious Senior Designer with strong skills across static and motion design to help shape the Club’s commercial creative work. Reporting to the Commercial Creative Lead, you’ll turn business objectives into original ideas, compelling presentations and distinctive campaigns for Tottenham Hotspur and its partners. You’ll take projects from concept to delivery across new business proposals, partner activations, retail and brand strategy, combining thoughtful design with excellent craft. Alongside creating the work, you’ll guide other designers, collaborate across the Club and help raise the standard of everything we produce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead static and motion projects from initial brief and concept development through to final production and delivery.
  • Develop original creative ideas for new business proposals, partner activations, retail campaigns and brand strategy, balancing audience needs with commercial objectives.
  • Create compelling presentations, campaign visuals, animation and video content with clear storytelling and a high level of craft.
  • Build visual identities, design systems and toolkits that translate across digital, social, print, film and physical spaces.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Creative Lead, designers and colleagues across Sales, Strategy, Activation and Marketing to develop and deliver the work.
  • Present concepts confidently, explain your creative decisions and respond constructively to feedback from colleagues and partners.
  • Guide other designers through projects, share knowledge and give clear, constructive feedback that helps strengthen their work.
  • Maintain high standards of typography, layout, motion and production, ensuring work is consistent with the Club’s and partners’ brand identities.
  • Manage multiple briefs, communicate progress and flag resource or timing challenges early, keeping delivery realistic and organised.
  • Draw on a trusted network of freelancers and specialists, helping to brief and guide external support when projects need additional expertise.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • A strong commercial portfolio showing original thinking, excellent visual craft and finished work across both static and motion design.
  • Proven experience delivering creative projects in an agency, studio or in-house team, with ownership from concept to final delivery.
  • Strong design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, image selection and visual storytelling, alongside confident motion design and video editing skills.
  • Experience creating presentations, campaigns and visual systems that translate a brief into clear, commercially relevant ideas.
  • Experience leading projects, supporting other designers and collaborating with colleagues, clients or partners through feedback and approvals.
  • Confidence managing several briefs and deadlines, with an understanding of production requirements across digital, print and motion.
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro; experience using Frame.io for review and feedback.
  • An established network of freelance creatives and specialists, with the ability to identify and brief the right support for a project.
  • Relevant design training or equivalent professional experience, demonstrated through the quality of your portfolio.

Desirable

  • Experience in 3D design or 3D animation.

Personal Attributes

  • Ambitious and curious, with strong creative judgement and a drive to push ideas and craft further.
  • Collaborative and generous with your knowledge, with the confidence to contribute ideas and the openness to build on others’ thinking.
  • Adaptable and resourceful, comfortable moving between different brands, audiences and formats.
  • Proactive and accountable, taking ownership of your work and finding practical solutions when challenges arise.
  • Calm, organised and reliable under pressure, with care for detail and respect for the people around you.
