Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Youth Development to lead our boys' youth program (U5-U13) and establish a strong foundation for player development in the Faroe Islands.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership

• Design and implement comprehensive youth development programs for boys aged 5-13


• Create and maintain age-appropriate training methodologies aligned with club philosophy


• Oversee and mentor youth coaching staff


• Establish clear player development pathways

Technical Development

• Implement progressive technical curriculum across age groups


• Monitor individual player development and progress


• Create individual development plans for talented players


• Ensure smooth transition between age groups

Administrative Duties

• Coordinate training schedules and facility usage


• Maintain communication with parents and stakeholders


• Organize youth tournaments and friendly matches


• Regular reporting on program progress and player development

Requirements

• UEFA B License (minimum)


• Proven track record in youth development


• Strong understanding of child development phases


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Experience in talent identification and development


• English language proficiency


• Willingness to relocate to the Faroe Islands
