TheRole We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and player-focused coach to join our Girls Talent Pathway coaching team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of talented female players within a structured and progressive football environment. The successful candidate will work within the Girls Talent Pathway, delivering high-quality coaching sessions and supporting matchday programmes to help players reach their full potential. You will contribute to creating a positive learning environment that aligns with our coaching philosophy, values, and long-term player development objectives. Training sessions are primarily delivered on Monday and Friday evenings, with fixtures and additional activities taking place throughout the season, including school holiday periods. KeyResponsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, challenging, and age-appropriate coaching sessions for players within the GirlsTalentPathway.
  • Support the planning, delivery, and review of training sessions in line with the pathway curriculumandcoachingphilosophy.
  • Assistwithplayerdevelopment, monitoring,andevaluationprocesses.
  • Supportmatchdaydeliveryandplayermanagement duringfixturesandtournaments.
  • Buildandmaintainpositiverelationshipswithplayers,parents,coaches,andstaff.
  • Work collaboratively with coaches across age groups to support player progression and transitions.
  • Supporttalentidentificationandrecruitmentactivitieswithinthelocalcommunity.
  • Ensureaccuratecompletionofalladministrative,monitoring,andoperationalrequirements.
  • Maintainandcareforallequipmentandkitprovided.
  • Adheretoallsafeguarding,welfare,healthandsafety,andgovernanceprocedures.
  • Promoteapositiveimageoftheorganisationatalltimes. About You Essential Criteria
  • FA Level 2 / UEFA C Coaching Qualification.
  • FA Safeguarding Children qualification.
  • Experience coaching young players aged U7–U18+.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, reliable, and proactive approach.
  • Flexible availability to meet the demands of the programme.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.. Desirable Criteria
  • UEFA B Coaching Licence.
  • Pitch-side First Aid qualification (ideally ITMMiF).
  • Experience working within Academy, Emerging Talent Centre (ETC), or Player Development environments.
  • Understanding of current FA coaching frameworks and player development initiatives.
  • Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
