TheRole We are seeking a passionate, motivated and player-centred coaches to join our Girls Talent Pathway. Working within a dedicated coaching team, you will play a key role in developing talented female footballers across the pathway, delivering high-quality coaching sessions and supporting players on both training and match days. The successful candidate will help create a positive, challenging and enjoyable environment that supports player development while aligning with the Trust's football philosophy, values and vision. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the girls' game within a progressive and ambitious football development programme. KeyResponsibilities
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriateandhigh-qualitycoachingsessions withinyour assignedagegroup.
- Support the development, implementation and evaluation of individual player developmentplans.
- Ensureallplayingidentity.
- Supportplayers'technical,tactical,physicalandpsychosocialdevelopment.
- Assist in creating a positive learning environment that encourages player growth andenjoyment.
- Attend and deliver coaching on training evenings, typically Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Support players during weekend fixtures and additional matches throughout the season,includingschoolholidayperiods.
- Complete session plans, reviews and operational requirements to a high standardandwithinrequiredtimescales.
- Work collaboratively with coaching staff to support player progression and age-grouptransitions.
About You Essential Criteria
- UEFA C Licence (FA Level 2) or equivalent coaching qualification.
- Emergency First Aid qualification (ideally Introduction to First Aid in Mental Health in Football or equivalent).
- Experience coaching within Academy, Emerging Talent Centre (ETC), Player Development Centre (PDC) or similar performance environments.
- Knowledge and understanding of coaching players from U7 to U18+ age groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a coaching team.
- Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and school holiday periods.
- Highly motivated, reliable and proactive.
- Strong understanding of football development principles and coaching practice.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.
Desirable Criteria
- UEFA B Licence.
- FA Safeguarding Children Qualification.
- Experience within girls' and women's football environments.
- Regular attendance at relevant CPD and coach development opportunities.
- Understanding of current FA coaching programmes, initiatives and player development frameworks.
