Why Join Us?

Virgil Sports operates Pakistan’s leading football academy, with programmes in Lahore and Faisalabad. We are ambitious about leading the development of youth club football, coach education, girls’ football and clear player pathways across Pakistan. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Director of Football to lead our football provision across the network. This is a senior leadership position with genuine authority to set standards, shape the curriculum, develop coaches and build the systems that support growth city by city.

You will create and implement a football curriculum based on UEFA principles, lead coach education across the network and ensure every programme delivers a consistent, high-quality experience.

This is not a desk-based management role. You will be expected to coach on the pitch, lead from the front and take responsibility for the standards, structure and development of the coaching team.

You will report to the CEO and manage Directors of Coaching (City Leads), the League President and the Club Liaison Officer for Trips.

  • Define the qualifications, competencies, contact hours, assessments and sign-off requirements for each stage.
  • Mentor Directors of Coaching and Senior Coaches.
  • Deliver internal workshops and provide feedback on session quality.
  • Hire football staff independently and manage the performance of coaches and City Leads. Any dismissal will be subject to General Manager sign-off.

Football Operations

  • Coach directly within the programme as part of a hands-on leadership role.
  • Oversee weekly and monthly coaching schedules across all sites.
  • Make decisions on training, fixtures and football activity based on weather, air quality, pitch conditions, safety and staffing.
  • Ensure equipment checks, safeguarding reports and pitch setup duties are completed.
  • Maintain strong operational and safeguarding standards.
  • Ensure coaches record attendance accurately and that student records are kept up to date.
  • Lead coach kit compliance across men’s, women’s and children’s coaching staff.

Leagues, Trips and Stakeholder Relations

  • Oversee delivery of youth leagues, senior leagues, camps, tournaments, friendlies and domestic and international trips.
