Description

Who We Are

Founded in 1882, Tottenham Hotspur is an iconic English football club, playing in the Premier League and Women’s Super League. From North London to the world, our fanbase spans continents, cultures, and generations. Spurs is a club that’s always dared to push boundaries, breaking new ground and rewriting history.

We are at our brightest when we’re all together. Our club, our teams, our community. We are entering a new era at Tottenham with a new club strategy, new leadership, and a focus on putting our fans at the heart of everything we do as we continue to strengthen our connection with our DNA, our home, and each other.

We’re at our brightest when we’re all together. Our Club, our teams, our community.

The Role

We're looking for a proactive, organised and technically minded Business Analyst to join our Digital & MarTech team.

Reporting to our Product Lead on our Digital & MarTech Team, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering the Club's digital products and experiences. You’ll help turn business ideas into well-defined requirements, support delivery teams through development, and ensure technical execution meets our objectives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across one of the most ambitious digital transformation programmes in sport. You'll contribute to the evolution of our digital ecosystem, including our websites, mobile apps, customer identity, personalisation and marketing technology platforms, helping us create connected, personalised experiences for millions of supporters around the world.

You'll work closely with Engineering, Digital Marketing, Content, Data, CRM teams and external technology partners, becoming a trusted bridge between business and technology.

You will act as a key advisor, aligning technical workflows with core business processes and operational efficiency. As your knowledge of our products and supporter journeys grows, you'll have the opportunity to own areas of our digital ecosystem and helping shape the future digital experience for fans.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Strategic Product Thinking

  • Partner with stakeholders across the Club to understand business needs and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements for the wider digital estate
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to define new features, enhancements and improvements
  • Document user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and functional specifications
  • Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and supporter experience
  • Map "As-Is" and "To-Be" processes to align technical execution with the Club’s strategic business objectives and operational efficiency
  • Support the development of strategies, helping turn complex business challenges into clear opportunities, recommendations and actionable plans
  • Take ownership of problem statements, conducting research, analysing data and evaluating potential solutions to inform strategic decisions

Product Delivery

  • Support throughout the delivery lifecycle from discovery through to release
  • Help prioritise and maintain the product backlogs, ensuring work is clearly defined and development ready
  • Work closely with engineering teams to answer questions, clarify requirements and support successful delivery
  • Ensure solutions remain aligned to business objectives throughout development

Quality Assurance & Release Support

  • Create detailed test scenarios and execute functional, regression and end-to-end testing across Digital and MarTech platforms
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders
  • Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution
  • Support release planning and validation to ensure new functionality is delivered with confidence

What you will bring

  • Fan focus, a passion for understanding supporter needs and improving digital experiences across every touch point
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst within Digital, Product, CRM or Marketing Technology teams
  • Experience working on websites, mobile applications or customer facing digital products
  • Experience writing high quality requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Experience performing QA testing and coordinating User Acceptance Testing
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework as a key member of a delivery team
  • Excellent skills in building strong relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience demonstrating solutions to stakeholders

Technical Knowledge

Ideally, you'll have experience with some of the following:

  • Digital products (Web, Mobile Apps, SSO)
  • Customer data and audience segmentation
  • Personalisation technologies
  • Salesforce CRM and Marketing Technology platforms
  • JIRA and Confluence

You don't need experience across every platform, we're looking for someone who is technically curious and excited to learn.

Personal Attributes

  • Innovative Thinker: Thinks ahead, generates ideas, and challenges the status quo
  • Collaborative: Values and respects others, builds relationships, and works well in team settings
  • Results Oriented: Gets things done, delivers to high standards, and takes responsibility
  • Analytical Problem Solver: You enjoy understanding how things work, asking the right questions and solving problems through structured thinking
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and meticulousness in all tasks
  • Adaptable: Willing to support other areas outside of normal day to day responsibilities when needed

Safeguarding & Recruitment Statement

Safeguarding is fundamental to the success in all that we do. The Club follows a Safer Recruitment process for all roles. Successful candidates are to be reminded they would be subject to proportionate background, DBS and reference checks as required for this role.

We welcome applications from anyone regardless of age, disability, gender, race, or ethnic and national origins, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.
