Description

 

Job Purpose
Responsible for the preparation and distribution of all Academy training and match kit for players and staff.

Role Accountabilities and Key Duties

  1. Prepare the U18 and Development Squad players' training and match kit before each training session and fixture.
  2. Allocate and print training kit for all Academy registered players at the start of and during each season, keeping accurate records throughout.
  3. Oversee the match kit protocol for the U8 to U16 age groups, preparing the kit allocation and checking it before and after fixtures. Keep accurate records of all kit logs and report discrepancies to Lead Phase Coaches.
  4. Take responsibility for all training equipment needs for U18 and Development Squad training sessions.
  5. Take responsibility for all kit and equipment storage spaces at Academy venues, making sure they are organised to a professional standard.
  6. Take part in monitoring the U18 players' daily duties.
  7. Assist with matchday operations at Academy venues as directed by the Head of Academy Operations.
  8. Undertake personal CPD as needed to meet the demands of the role.
  9. Take part in the appraisal process.
  10. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those on health, safety and security.
  11. Carry out any other duties that fall within the scope of this position.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence
  • FA Safeguarding Certificate
  • BFAS / Emergency First Aid
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong IT skills, including a high level of competence in Excel and Word
  • A good overall level of numeracy and literacy
  • Ability to communicate with empathy and effectiveness with young players, parents, coaches and senior club staff
