The Role

Empire Sports Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Academy Coach to join its coaching team in Dubai, working across the academy's boys’ and girls’ football programmes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching sessions across different age groups and ability levels, helping players develop their technical ability, understanding of the game and confidence on and off the pitch.

This is a hands-on coaching role for someone who enjoys being on the grass, building relationships with young players and creating sessions that are challenging, enjoyable and appropriate for each stage of development.

As part of the wider academy coaching team, you will also contribute to fixtures, tournaments, player assessments and academy events throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities

As an Academy Coach, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate football sessions across the boys’ and girls’ academy programmes.
• Work with players of different ages and stages of development.
• Support players with their technical, tactical and personal development.
• Coach academy teams during matches, festivals and tournaments where required.
• Provide constructive feedback to players and help them understand their individual areas for development.
• Create a positive environment where players are encouraged to learn, compete and enjoy their football.
• Work closely with other academy coaches to provide a consistent approach to player development.
• Support player assessments and movement between appropriate academy groups.
• Communicate professionally with players, parents and academy staff.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and player welfare.
• Represent Empire Sports Academy professionally at all times.

About You

Empire Sports Academy is looking for a coach who is passionate about youth development and understands that good academy coaching is about much more than running drills.

You should be comfortable working with different age groups and adapting your coaching style to the players in front of you. The ability to communicate clearly, build relationships and create an environment where young players want to learn will be particularly important.

The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum FA Level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience coaching children and young players.
• A good understanding of youth football and player development.
• The ability to plan and deliver structured, engaging coaching sessions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and professional approach to working with young players.
• The ability to work effectively within a wider coaching team.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and player welfare.

Experience within an academy, grassroots club, development centre or similar youth football environment would be advantageous.

Experience working across both boys’ and girls’ football would also be beneficial.

Salary: AED 10,000–13,000 per month, depending on experience.
