Club Visits Further Align Jobs4football Strategy within the Kingdom 🔎

Jobs4football recently undertook a series of exploratory visits to leading Saudi clubs, including a firsthand look at Al Hilal’s training ground facility, a tour of Al Nassr’s forward-thinking Commercial Academy, and an invitation to experience the hospitality of Yelo League side Al Jubail during one of their decisive final league fixtures.

Each insight-filled visit deepened our understanding of both the immediate talent acquisition needs and the broader, strategic requirements facing football clubs in Saudi Arabia. More importantly, these experiences have enabled us to cultivate and strengthen valuable networks throughout the region.

Career Tip đź’ˇ

The Networking Mistake That Wasted 6 Months in Football (And How You Can Avoid It ❌️)

Early in my career (too long ago!), I sent generic LinkedIn connection requests to dozens of club staff—few replied.

I learned an important lesson that quality beats quantity:

Personalise Your Message: Mention a recent match, article, or shared connection.

Offer Value: Ask how you can help, not just what you want.

Follow Up: If you meet someone at an event, send a thank-you note and stay in touch. (This is 🔑)

After changing my approach, networking became so much easier.

đź’ˇ: Build genuine relationships, not just a contact list.
