Barcelona to sign Premier League star on a free transfer next season

Barcelona's signing of superstar players Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and others has caused a stir in the footballing world.

However, the club showed the willingness to sign European young talents by strengthening their youth ranks, as shown by Pablo Torre being captured earlier in this year.

Barca are near to signing Girona’s prospect Unai Hernandez. It is part of their plans for strengthening the Barcelona B squad in the run-up to the new season.

According to The Athletic, the Catalans want to sign Carney Chukwuemeka (a young midfielder). The Aston Villa starlet is widely regarded as one the best young talents in England and many see him as the next big thing in this country, after Jude Bellingham.

Chukwuemeka is not seeing the growth he expected at Aston Villa. He played only 294 minutes of league football in the last term.

It has led speculation to his future at Villa Park with AC Milan and Barcelona being interested in his services.

Catalans appear keen to add new blood to their midfield unit, especially considering Pedri & Gavi's extraordinary success over the past twelve months. Chukwuemeka could be the next Catalan signing.

Barca may be looking for another young star in Chukwuemeka. This is a man who has shown great potential in English youth divisions. The Aston Villa prodigy, standing at 1.85m tall, is an example of the physical and mental attributes that make him different from any other talent Barcelona has.

The report says that Barcelona may not want to spend a lot on Chukwuemeka. Barca and Milan have both agreed to wait for Chukwuemeka's expiration, despite his staggering EUR23.5million value.
