Craig Livingston Joins Visakha FC as Football Analyst
On the 12th September 2019, Jobs4football posted an advert for a performance analyst in South East Asia. Now Asia based British coach Craig Livingston is in advanced talks with a club in Cambodia regarding a new role.
This post will explain the Jobs4football process and the knowledge and service we offer… we don’t just post jobs, we offer a transparent process with the best service possible.
Consulting with the club
As we have said in previous post, we have a number of years experience in moving players and football staff to clubs both at home and abroad.
We understand that peoples time is precious and we don’t like to waste it…
From the start of the process, we consult with the club on exactly what they are looking for in a candidate so we can provide the best applications possible.
As well as the usual questions like position, wage and who the successful candidate will be reporting to we also get detailed information and special requirements.
All this information then forms the advert we put out to candidates and helps us when reviewing applications.
Finding candidates for the Role
As www.jobs4football.com was not 100% ready, an advert was posted on Twitter and Linkedin so candidates could send their cv’s for consideration.
The advert was simple but explained the main points needed for the role.

Find the right candidate
The advert had a good response and we started the next step in the process of reviewing the cvs.
After reviewing all the cv’s we were left with 18 candidates that had experience of working as a performance analyst – from those 18 applications we then began to match them to the criteria that were set out by the club in our initial consultation.
We then sent the best five candidates to the club who then selected two applications to be interviewed.
Consultation with candidates
The next step was to do Skype interviews with the final two candidates.
This is where our experience is key, we understand the market and the culture of the country we are placing a candidate we can give information on the club, the league and what it is like to live in that area so the candidate feels at ease with the whole process.
Plus, due to our initial consultation with the club, we know exactly what they are looking for and can give a full insight into the role.

After an initial consultation, within one week, Jobs4football had set up a face to face interview between Craig and the club and are now assisting him with contract talks.
