Wadi Degla Sporting Club is an Egyptian multi-sport club based in Cairo, best known internationally for its football and women's football programmes. The club was founded in 2002 and is part of the wider Wadi Degla sports-club group. Wadi Degla Clubs states that the group's sporting-club legacy began in 2002 and that it has developed a large network of private sports and leisure clubs in Egypt. The football section developed rapidly after the club's establishment. Wadi Degla reached the Egyptian Premier League for the first time in the 2009–10 season, marking a major milestone in the relatively young club's history.
