Lalor United Sloga Football Club is a community-based football club located in Thomastown, Victoria, in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. The club was established in 1979 and has developed a long-standing role in providing football opportunities for players, families and the broader local community. Its official website identifies the organisation as Lalor United Sloga F.C. and highlights its competitive history, including State League 4 North championship success in 2018 and State League 3 North/West championship success in 2019. 

The club operates from HR Uren Recreation Reserve at 141–143 Victoria Drive, Thomastown, where it has benefited from substantial facility investment. The reserve has received a FIFA-approved synthetic football pitch, upgraded lighting, new pathways, fencing, car-parking improvements and a purpose-built pavilion containing social, kitchen, office, storage and spectator facilities. The City of Whittlesea has described Lalor United Sloga as having a 45-year history in the community and identified the club as an important local sporting organisation. 

The club fields senior and junior football teams and participates in Football Victoria competitions. In 2025, Lalor United FC won the State League 2 North-West premiership, earning promotion for the 2026 season, when it entered the State League 1 North-West competition. Football Victoria’s 2026 fixture announcement confirms Lalor United FC as the 2025 State League 2 North-West premier. 

Beyond senior men's football, the club has also maintained junior and women's football programmes. A 2025 club recruitment notice sought a Senior Women’s Coach for the 2026 season and described the organisation as community-driven, inclusive and focused on player development and culture. The club therefore combines competitive football with community participation, youth development and the continued expansion of its football pathway.
