About Us

Falkirk Football Community Foundation, commonly known as Falkirk Foundation, is a registered Scottish charity and the community arm of Falkirk Football Club. Established in 2010, the Foundation is based at Falkirk Stadium and works across Falkirk and the wider Forth Valley area. Its charitable purpose includes advancing public participation in sport, supporting community development, providing recreational opportunities and advancing education through football and other sports. The Foundation uses football and community sport as tools for wider social impact rather than focusing solely on football development. Its programmes cover football participation, physical health and wellbeing, mental health and wellbeing, education, employability and community engagement. The organisation works with children, young people, adults and families, providing opportunities designed to improve confidence, physical activity, social connection, life skills and pathways into learning and employment. Its football pathway provides opportunities from approximately 18 months through to adults aged 50+, including Baby Bairns and Mini Bairns, junior development, girls' football, goalkeeping, male teams, female teams and senior football. This creates a structured route for participants to remain involved in football across different ages and levels. The Foundation also delivers targeted programmes for young people and communities. Its Centre Forward programme supports 16–24-year-olds with additional support needs through qualifications, skills development, physical activity and wellbeing support, while other programmes focus on employability, health and inclusion. The organisation operates as a registered charity under Scottish Charity Number SC041791 and is also registered as a company under SC384619. Its registered address is Falkirk Stadium, 6 Stadium Way, Falkirk, FK2 9EE. Falkirk Foundation works closely with Falkirk Football Club while maintaining its own charitable community role. The Foundation has also developed an extensive community football pathway, with previous programme information recording hundreds of players across more than 40 teams. Its current organisational structure includes a Chief Executive, business operations, football development and business-support roles. Overall, Falkirk Foundation combines football, education, health, wellbeing and employability programmes to create opportunities and strengthen communities across Falkirk and the surrounding Forth Valley area.
