Banbury United Football Club is a community-owned football club based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England. Established in 1931 as Spencer Sports Club, the club adopted the name Banbury United in 1965 and currently competes in the Southern League Premier Division Central. Home matches are played at the Spencer Stadium (Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium). Since 2015, the club has been owned by its supporters through Banbury United Community Football Club Ltd, a Community Benefit Society registered with the Financial Conduct Authority. The club operates men's, women's, academy, and youth teams, providing a comprehensive player development pathway while maintaining a strong commitment to grassroots football.
