Banaat Football Club (Banaat FC) is a Dubai-based women's football club founded in 2023 by Emirati entrepreneur Budreya Faisal with the mission of advancing women's football while celebrating Arab identity and Emirati culture. The club competes in the UAE Women's Football League and was established to create professional-level opportunities for female footballers in the United Arab Emirates. Banaat FC combines elite football development with community engagement, providing pathways for senior players and youth through its academy programme. The club follows a player-centred approach that emphasizes technical excellence, personal growth, leadership, and cultural representation. Since its launch, Banaat FC has gained international recognition, including coverage by FIFA, and became the first independent women's football club in the Middle East and North Africa to secure a partnership with Nike. The club has expanded rapidly through academy programmes, grassroots initiatives, school partnerships, and community events designed to encourage greater participation in women's football. In recent seasons, Banaat FC has achieved significant competitive success, including winning the UAE Women's League and the inaugural UAE Women's Super Cup, earning qualification for regional and continental competitions. Beyond results on the pitch, the organisation aims to inspire the next generation of female athletes by creating an inclusive environment where Arab women can pursue football at the highest level while remaining connected to their culture and values. Operating from Dubai, Banaat FC continues to invest in coaching, youth development, community outreach, and professional standards as it seeks to become a leading women's football organisation in the Middle East.
