    About Us

Al-Fateh Sports Club is a Saudi Arabian multi-sports organisation based in Al-Mubarraz in the Al-Ahsa Governorate of the Eastern Province. The club was founded in 1958 by a group of young football enthusiasts in Al-Mubarraz and was officially recognised as Al-Fateh Sports Club in 1968. The club’s official history identifies its sporting mission as developing talent and providing an outstanding sports experience for members and supporters, while its vision is to become a leading force in Saudi sport and a beacon for young people in the Eastern Province.  Al-Fateh is considerably broader than a football club. Its official organisational structure includes football, youth categories and a first team, alongside volleyball, basketball, karate, swimming, badminton, table tennis, handball, taekwondo, tennis, cycling, judo and e-sports. It also maintains dedicated departments covering public relations, programmes and projects, human resources, information technology, finance, media, legal affairs, marketing, investment, events, social responsibility, governance and compliance, among others.  The football section achieved a historic breakthrough in 2009, when Al-Fateh gained promotion to the Saudi Pro League for the first time. Its most significant football achievement followed in the 2012–13 season, when the club won the Saudi Professional League title and subsequently captured the Saudi Super Cup in 2013. The Super Cup victory made Al-Fateh the first Saudi club to win that competition.  The club has continued to operate a structured football pathway encompassing its first team and youth categories, while its wider sports programme supports participation across numerous disciplines. Its facilities include a substantial sports complex established through a development project that began in 1994 and was completed in 2000.  Al-Fateh is currently competing in the Saudi Pro League, with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation listing its senior and youth teams across national competitions. The club maintains a significant professional workforce, with LinkedIn classifying the organisation in the 501–1,000 employee range.
