Women’s Team Physiotherapist (part-time).

Women’s First Team Manager.

Purpose of the Role
Working with the Women’s First Team, the post holder will be responsible for delivering a physiotherapy and rehabilitation programme and immediate medical cover on training and match days.

Internal: Women’s First Team Manager.
Head of Women’s Football.
Physical Performance Team.
Staff and Managers throughout the organisation.

External: Circle Private Hospital.
Other Clubs’ Medical and Performance Staff.

Role Specific Responsibilities

The post holder will:

• Delivering a comprehensive Physiotherapy programme.

• Liaise with Women’s First Team Coaches regarding treatment, management, and return to play of all Women’s players.

• Liaise with Circle Private Hospital Physiotherapists regarding treatment, management, and return to play of all severely injured Women’s players.

• Deliver individualised assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to all Women’s players as required.

• Refer serious injuries that may need scans or further medical treatment to Circle Private Hospital.

• Provide match day medical cover (home and away, including evenings and weekends).

• Support the Women’s injury audit.

• Maintain up to date and accurate injury notes for all Women’s players in line with regulatory requirements.
