Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Women’s Team at Watford Football Club. We are currently looking to recruit a Team Doctor on a part-time basis to provide medical care and advice to our Women’s First Team.
This will involve running a medical clinic twice a week, being present during training sessions and matches to provide first-hand emergency response when needed, keeping medical records, and working closely with a wider medical and performance team.
The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, be enthusiastic, hardworking, and be flexible to the requirements of the position and the business.
Applicants should ideally live local to Watford and London Colney or the surrounding areas and be a UK resident or non-UK resident with a valid UK work permit and ideally have experience working within a similar role.
You Must Have
- GMC certification
- Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine or equivalent
- Pitch-side trauma qualification (i.e. Level 5 ATMMiF or equivalent)
- ATMMiF-R Accreditation
- Medical Indemnity Insurance
- FA Safeguarding certificate
- A willingness to work evenings, weekends and matchdays when required
- Full UK driving licence or ability to travel to various locations due to the demands of the role
- Understanding of the Club's commitment to EDI & Safeguarding
