Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sports Scientist to play a key role across both Aberdeen FC Women’s First Team and the Girls’ Academy, supporting the development, health, availability and performance of players from the academy pathway through to senior football.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sports Scientist to play a key role across both Aberdeen FC Women’s First Team and the Girls’ Academy, supporting the development, health, availability and performance of players from the academy pathway through to senior football.

The successful candidate will combine high-quality day-to-day applied sport science with leadership of sport science provision across the girls’ pathway. You will work collaboratively with coaches, medical staff, strength & conditioning practitioners, analysts and other performance staff to ensure evidence-informed practice directly supports player development and team performance.

We are looking for individuals with a degree is Sports and Exercise Science or other closely related discipline.

 

This is a full-time role that will predominantly involve evening and weekend working.
