Banaat (Arabic for ‘Girl') FC is looking for an ambitious and highly motivated U17 & Youth Football Coach to join our academy coaching team and play a key role in developing the next generation of female footballers.
In just three seasons, Banaat FC has grown from a new idea in Dubai into UAE Women's League Champions, Super Cup Champions and a club competing on the Asian stage.
Our next focus is building the pathway behind it.
THE ROLE
You will take primary responsibility for our U17 team, while also coaching across selected youth age groups within the academy program.
The U17 age group represents an important final stage between academy and senior football, and we want a coach who understands that their role goes beyond delivering sessions.
You will be expected to develop players, build competitive teams, set standards and help identify those capable of progressing toward our First Team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the coaching and development of our U17 team
- Coaching additional youth age groups across the academy program
- Planning and delivering high-quality, age-appropriate sessions
- Leading teams during competitive matches and tournaments
- Developing players technically, tactically, physically and mentally
- Supporting individual player development and progression
- Working closely with the First Team and academy coaching staff
- Identifying high-potential players and helping prepare them for senior football
- Maintaining strong standards of professionalism, discipline and team culture
- Communicating effectively with players, parents and club staff
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We want a coach who is serious about developing players and excited by the opportunity to help build a football pathway.
Ideally, you will have:
- UEFA B / AFC B License or equivalent preferred, UEFA C minimum
- Strong experience coaching youth and girl's football, particularly U15–U18
- Excellent technical and tactical understanding
- Strong session planning and player-development skills
- Good communication and leadership
- The ability to manage different age groups and adapt your coaching accordingly
- Professional standards on and off the pitch
- Experience within girls’ or women’s football is an advantage, but not essential
