Are you an experienced grassroots football coach looking for your next challenge?

Colchester United Community Foundation (CUCF) is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic U11 Lead Coach to join our Boys Development Centre for the 2026/2027 season.

CUCF delivers high-quality participation, health and inclusion, and education programmes to over 9,000 children, young people, and adults across the region each week. This is a fantastic opportunity for a coach who enjoys working with young players and wants to develop their own coaching journey within the Colchester United player pathway.

You may currently be coaching your child’s grassroots team, working within a local grassroots club, or already have experience in a football development environment. Whatever your background, if you are passionate about helping young players develop, creating positive experiences and delivering engaging football sessions, we would love to hear from you.

The Boys Development Centre provides a structured development environment for players aged U6–U16, supporting the wider Colchester United Academy pathway. As a U11 Lead Coach, you will play an important role in developing on the foundations for players' technical and tactical confidence, creativity, and love to improve and develop their potential.
