Salary: £28,860 per year
Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract: 1-year fixed-term (with possibility of extension)
Location: Selhurst Park Stadium and venues across South London

Job Summary
Are you looking for a role that supports young people in their community spaces? We are looking for a Targeted Intervention Officer to support with our projects out in the community. The role will be varied and exciting, helping us work towards our goal of creating safe spaces and opportunities for our young people.

Job Description
As Targeted Intervention Officer you will:
- Deliver interventions, including one-to-one mentoring and group support, for referred participants in partner schools and wider community projects;
- Work directly on projects that provide early intervention for young people at risk of social and academic exclusion, criminal exploitation and other risk-based concerns;
- Work with local school and community partners to identify and respond to the needs of young people in the community;
- Support 'Youth Hub' provision by delivering engaging after-school activities and safe spaces for young people;
- Support 'Premier League Kicks' sessions by providing on-site one-to-one mentoring;
- Support projects across the wider Foundation as required.
Person Specification
As successful candidate you will:
- Have a passion for supporting and developing young people in the local community;
- Have experience in youth work or mentoring;
- Have a qualification in youth work or mentoring or equivalent;
- Can identify needs as they arise and adapt delivery;
- Have strong working knowledge of safeguarding, with up-to-date training in associated concerns.
