Para Squad Kit ManagerThe FA

The FA's Para Division are looking for Kit Managers to provide high-quality operational support to England Para Football teams. 

Kit Managers will be planning, preparing, delivering and managing all kit, clothing, football equipment and performance support equipment across training camps, fixtures and international tournaments. 

This is a casual contract with an initial end date of 31st July 2027, and an anticipated maximum of 60 days of work a season.

The role is contractually homebased but delivery of the role's responsibilities will be required on site at St. George's Park and other locations, including the potential for international travel. The role will also require regular weekend work.

What will you do?

• Plan, organise and deliver all kit requirements for assigned England Para Football teams.
• Prepare and distribute player and staff kit for training camps, fixtures and tournaments.
• Assemble player and staff kit bundles, ensuring correct sizing and quantities.
• Collect, reconcile and maintain accurate records of all issued kit.
• Manage stock control, inventory and replenishment requirements.
• Prepare, transport and manage football, medical and performance support equipment.
• Ensure coaching and multidisciplinary teams have access to all required equipment.
• Prepare dressing rooms and deliver pitch-side kit support during training and matches.
• Provide in-game replacement kit and equipment where required.
• Support hydration and nutrition provision for coaching and performance staff.
• Wash, dry and maintain kit, clothing and equipment where necessary.
• Liaise with the Para Operations Team and Three Lions Yard regarding kit and logistics.
• Support wider operational activities during camps and tournaments.
• Load, transport and unload equipment safely.
• Executes additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and well-being can be maintained.
• As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role. Casual work is conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory DBS check result, which will be fairly considered on a case-by-case basis, in line with legislation and government guidance.

• Experience delivering operational support at sports events or within elite sporting environments.
• Experience managing logistics, stock or equipment.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Professional, proactive and reliable approach.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including evenings, weekends and international tournaments.
• Ability to undertake manual handling associated with sports equipment. 

Beneficial to have:

• Previous Kit Manager experience within professional football or elite sport.
• Experience supporting national teams or international tournaments.
• Knowledge of football operations.
• Experience working alongside multidisciplinary performance teams.
• First Aid and/or Manual Handling qualification.
