Description

  • Report To Senior Physiotherapist
  • Salary £26,000-£28,500 depending on experience and qualifications
  • Start Date August/September 2026

Main Responsibilities/Description of Duties

  • Work in conjunction with Medical Team for the programming and delivery of rehabilitation for First Team & full time U17/U19 injured players throughout the rehabilitation spectrum from early stage to return to play.
  • Provide soft tissue treatment as part of the recovery process pre and post training, as required.
  • Effectively assist in the screening and testing protocols that objectively assess players physical capabilities within a criteria-based rehabilitation.
  • Take part in CPD training
  • Ensure high levels of professionalism and patient confidentiality
  • Any other duties that are reasonable and consistent with the nature of the job, as determined by the Medical Team.
  • Maintain medical notes to CSP standards.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential:

  • BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy qualification.
  • Current registration with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Valid National Sports First Aid Certificate or equivalent
  • Strong IT skills particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to relate to and understand young people, demonstrating personality and enthusiasm.
  • Committed to working evenings and weekends as required including training sessions and fixtures
  • Full driving licence and access to a car.
  • PVG check to be completed before appointment.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working within the sport industry
  • Further education in relevant field (eg. degree, honours, additional courses).
