ABOUT US
Newcastle Red Bulls is entering one of the most exciting periods in its history.
As the only PREM Rugby club in the true North of England, we are proud of our roots, our region and our fiercely loyal supporter base. Now, backed by Red Bull, we are building a new future for professional rugby in the North East; one defined by ambition, energy, creativity and long-term growth.
Red Bull’s involvement brings the strength of a globally recognised brand, a proven high-performance mindset and deep experience in creating world-class sports and entertainment platforms. For Newcastle Red Bulls, this means a rare opportunity to reimagine what a modern rugby club can be: competitive on the pitch, commercially progressive off it, and capable of connecting with fans, partners and communities far beyond matchday.
Our vision is to become one of the leading rugby organisations in the UK and Europe. To get there, we are building a dynamic, commercially focused organisation with the people, ideas and partnerships to match our ambition.
We are looking for outstanding individuals who want to be part of that journey.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is not a business-as-usual partnerships role.
As Head of Partnerships, you will play a central role in Newcastle Red Bulls’ commercial transformation, leading the development and delivery of a modern, insight-led and creatively driven partnerships programme.
You will be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, building high-value brand relationships, creating standout partnership propositions and delivering activations that bring commercial partnerships to life across the club’s brand, digital, content, matchday and fan engagement platforms.
Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will help shape a best-in-class sponsorship and activation model for a club with renewed ambition, a powerful regional identity and the backing of one of the world’s most recognisable brands.
You will own the full partnership lifecycle, from acquisition and negotiation through to activation, innovation, measurement and renewal. You will also work collaboratively with Red Bull and Red Bull Media House where relevant to ensure brand alignment and creative excellence, while maintaining ownership of partnerships delivery for Newcastle Red Bulls.
This is an opportunity to help build something genuinely distinctive: a commercially ambitious rugby club with the energy, creativity and global potential of Red Bull behind it.
