Description

Newcastle United Foundation, in partnership with Brighton College, are recruiting two Head Coaches to be based at the school in Bangkok, Thailand.

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified football coaches to join an international school environment and help deliver a high-quality football programme aligned with professional coaching standards.

The successful candidates will be appointed on an initial two-year contract, with the possibility of an extension.

Key Responsibilities

The Head Coach will be responsible for delivering and supporting a high-quality football programme within the school environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering structured, engaging and progressive football coaching sessions.
  • Leading football development activities for students across the programme.
  • Creating a positive, professional and inclusive coaching environment.
  • Supporting the technical and personal development of participating players.
  • Ensuring coaching sessions are appropriate to the age and ability of the players involved.
  • Monitoring player development and providing appropriate feedback.
  • Representing Newcastle United Foundation and Brighton College to a high professional standard.
  • Working collaboratively with school staff and other coaches involved in the programme.
  • Supporting fixtures, tournaments, football events and wider programme activities where required.
  • Maintaining appropriate standards of safeguarding, welfare, behaviour and professionalism.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must hold a minimum Level 2 football coaching qualification to be considered for the position.

Candidates should also demonstrate:

  • Strong football coaching and session-delivery skills.
  • The ability to lead and manage groups of young players effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional and organised approach to coaching.
  • The ability to work effectively within an international school environment.
  • A commitment to player development and creating a positive football experience.

Salary

THB 123,970 per month basic salary.

Accommodation

An accommodation allowance will be provided, with the rental value capped at THB 25,000 per month.

Additional Benefits

The successful candidates will also receive:

- Free school places for up to two children, subject to the school's admissions criteria.

- Return flight to and from the employee's home base on completion of every two-year contract.

- School medical insurance covering the employee, their partner and up to two children.

- Relocation/shipping allowance of up to THB 25,000 at the start of employment, claimable against actual shipping receipts.

- A further allowance of up to THB 25,000 at the end of employment, claimable against actual shipping receipts.
