Description

Lancashire FA is seeking a passionate, organised and proactive Football Facilities Activator to join our Facilities and Investment Team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of grassroots football facilities across Lancashire by supporting the delivery of projects that improve places to play. Working alongside clubs, leagues, schools, local authorities, the Football Foundation and other partners, you will play a key role in helping communities access sustainable, high-quality football facilities.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of Lancashire FA's Facilities and Investment Strategy and The FA National Game Strategy by providing project and administrative support across a wide range of facility programmes. You will assist with funding applications, maintain key data and project trackers, support grant programmes, coordinate stakeholder engagement, administer the FA 3G Register, identify funding opportunities and help deliver Local Football Facilities Plans across Lancashire.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with excellent administrative, communication and customer service skills. You will be confident managing multiple priorities, interpreting and presenting data, building positive relationships and supporting projects from inception through to delivery. Experience within football, sport, community development or a similar environment would be advantageous, together with a passion for creating positive community impact through better football facilities.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 35 hours per week. The role is based at Lancashire FA's headquarters in Leyland, with opportunities for hybrid working and regular travel across Lancashire. The role includes occasional evening and weekend work and offers a salary of £23,500 per annum, together with a comprehensive benefits package.

Next Steps
Lancashire FA is entering the third year of its ambitious four-year strategy, making this an exciting time to join an organisation that is values-led, forward thinking and committed to delivering positive change through football.

Please review the Recruitment Pack, which includes the full job description and person specification, before submitting your application.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 26th July, with interviews scheduled to take place later in early August with the successful applicant being in place as soon as possible.

Lancashire FA recognises that applicants may choose to use AI tools to support aspects of their application. However, all applications must accurately reflect the applicant's own skills, knowledge, experience and suitability for the role. Applications found to contain misleading, inaccurate or non-authentic information may be withdrawn from the recruitment process. Candidates should be prepared to discuss all aspects of their application in detail at interview.

Lancashire FA is an equal opportunities employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We actively welcome applications from individuals across our under-represented communities to help ensure our workforce reflects the diversity of Lancashire's football community. All applications will be anonymised before shortlisting.

To support our equality, diversity and inclusion work, applicants will also be invited to complete our confidential demographic data information form. Completion of this form is voluntary, anonymous and separate from the recruitment process.
