🚨 Assistant Coaches Wanted – First Team & U21s 🚨

Chorley Women FC is looking for enthusiastic, ambitious and committed Assistant Coaches to join our Women’s Programme for the 2026/27 season.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a competitive and progressive environment across both our First Team and U21s squads:

⚽ First Team – Tier 4, FA Women’s National League North Division
⚽ U21s – Tier 7 Regional Football

Working alongside our Head Coaches, successful candidates will support the planning, delivery and review of training sessions and matchday operations across the programme.

Our blended staffing model provides coaches with the opportunity to work across the entire women’s pathway, supporting player development, progression between squads, and the consistent delivery of our playing philosophy. This approach helps create a genuine one-club culture while offering valuable experience across both senior and development football.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Support the planning and delivery of training sessions
• Assist with matchday preparation, analysis and in-game coaching
• Contribute to individual player development and progression plans
• Support talent identification and player transitions between squads
• Help implement and maintain the club’s playing philosophy
• Work collaboratively with coaching, medical and support staff

🔹 Commitment Required
• Training: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:00pm–9:00pm
• Matchdays: Sundays, 2:00pm kick-off
• Additional meetings and club events as required

🔹 Essential Criteria
• Minimum UEFA C Licence
• Strong understanding of player development principles
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to women’s football and continuous learning
• Based within approximately one hour of Chorley

🔹 Desirable
• UEFA B Licence (or working towards)
• Experience within women’s football
• Experience in player development, performance analysis or talent pathways
