Derby County are seeking to recruit Academy Talent ID Coaches to join Academy Recruitment at Moor Farm Training Centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing and supporting talented young footballers in a positive, supportive and professional learning environment and provide a pathway into our Academy system.

Key Role Responsibilities:
• Designing and delivering engaging football coaching sessions to support the players and progress their football development.
• Carry out player and session evaluations on a regular basis.
• Be responsible for coaching the players across the under 8’s – under 12’s age groups.
• Liaising with parents/carers both formally and informally to provide a positive and welcoming environment.
• To attend relevant CPD and Coach Competency Framework activities.
• To act as a positive role model to all players.
• To be committed to supporting the players through the games programme
• To be responsible for the health, safety and welfare of customers and colleagues, complying with health and safety guidance and policy.
• Continuously work to maintain, embed and improve the club’s safeguarding provision, ensuring the highest standards for safeguarding children and adults at risk.
• To uphold and promote organizational policies and procedures, promoting those specifically applicable to this area of work and also including equality, diversity and inclusion.
• To present and promote an appropriate public image in representing the organization.
• To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required commensurate with the post.

Personal characteristics and experience:
• Experience of coaching players in the U6-U11 age bracket
• Experience of coaching, managing and leading a team.
• Ability to manage and motivate individuals within a team.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
• Knowledge of young player talent identification and development
• Knowledge of the football recruitment process
• Engaging and enthusiastic personality

Qualifications:
Essential
• UEFA C License
• FA Emergency Aid Certificate
• FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
