Job title: Academy Performance Analyst (U16s)

Salary: Hourly rate of pay
Hours of Work: 20 hours per week on a flexible basis to include evening and weekend working where required

Job Role

To provide analysis support for the U16 team and where required other teams across the Academy. The successful candidate will lead their analysis programme within their designated age group consisting of pre- and post-match prep, managing the training/feedback/match workflow and liaising with closely related staff for any specific tasks required.

Role Accountabilities & Key Duties

• Filming all fixtures at home and occasionally away. Fixtures will generally take place on Sundays and occasionally mid-week.

• Provide post-match analysis, with detailed video and/or statistical feedback on games for coaching staff and players, using provided software.

• Supporting individual development plans for players with statistical and video-based support in line with the ‘academy blueprint’.

• Maintaining and updating the academy HUDL video library and statistical databases.

• Engaging in required pre- and post-match meetings with coaches and players.

• Work closely with both the coaching and analysis teams to align to key academy player development metrics.

QualificationsEnhanced DBS CertificateUniversity BSc degree in related field.

UEFA C Coaching Licence
ExperienceExperience of working within an elite sporting environment

Experience working with people of varying backgrounds and cultures
Experience working within a football Academy environment
KnowledgeAppropriate software, e.g. HUDL Sportscode, Wyscout, SPIIDEOExcel,
Keynote/Powerpoint
SkillsAdaptability to be effective in a dynamic, fast-paced Environment

Strong communication skills in a variety of settings

Ability to work as part of a broader multidisciplinary team

Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
