Heart of Midlothian is an Edinburgh-based Scottish Premiership Football Club with Elite Academy Status. We are looking for an organised and proactive Academy Kit Manager to play an important role behind the scenes, helping ensure our Boys’ and Girls’ Academy
players and staff have the kit and equipment they need to perform at their best. Working closely with the Head of Academy Operations, this full-time role will support the smooth day-to-day running of the Academy by coordinating kit and equipment across our teams.
Academy Kit Manager Responsibilities:
• Organising, preparing, laundering and distributing kit across all age groups.
• Maintaining kit room standards and stock records.
• Supporting annual and ad-hoc kit orders.
• Coordinating printing, numbering, initials and any other requirements.
• Supporting with the Boys 19s matchday kit and equipment needs.
• Assisting the Balerno Performance School where required, including helping with
Academy transport arrangements, maintaining vehicles and records, and driving
Academy vehicles safely and professionally.
Essential Requirements & Experience:
.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an academy football environment.
• Full, clean UK driving licence which permits the driving of a minibus (D1 unrestricted or a PCV licence/ D1). You must be at least 25 years of age and have held a full driving licence for a minimum of two years as per Government guidance and Company insurance requirements. Please note that drivers who passed their driving test after the 1st of January 1997 are required to hold a D1 PCV driving licence in relation to the use of the minibus and therefore your application will only be considered if you meet these requirements.
