About South London Girls Football Academy
South London Girls Football Academy is committed to providing ambitious young female players with a high-quality development environment that supports both their footballing and personal growth.

The Role
We are seeking to appoint 1–2 Academy Coaches to join our coaching team for the 2026/27 season.
The successful candidates will play an important role in delivering our academy programme, supporting player development, and helping to create an engaging and challenging learning environment for young female footballers.
This role would suit coaches who are passionate about youth development, committed to continuous learning, and aligned with a long-term player development philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality coaching sessions in line with the Academy curriculum and coaching framework.
- Create positive, engaging and inclusive learning environments.
- Support the technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social development of players.
- Contribute to player development reviews and reporting.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and conduct.
- Work collaboratively with Academy staff and fellow coaches.
- Uphold safeguarding, welfare and health & safety standards at all times.
Essential Criteria
- UEFA B Licence
- Enhanced DBS Certificate
- FA Safeguarding Children Qualification
- FA Emergency First Aid Qualification
- Minimum five years' experience within youth football
- Minimum 12 months' experience within girls' football
- Experience within a professional club pathway environment, including one or more of the following:
Academy
Emerging Talent Centre (ETC)
Development Centre
Advanced Player Programme (APP)
