As one of the biggest clubs in European football with many aspiring players asking how can I get Manchester United Academy Trials.
Manchester United are renowned for having one of the best academies in the world, from The Busby Babes to The Class of ’92 they have started the career of countless professional players over the years.
The bad news is that United do not hold open trials, trials are invitation only. They have a massive network of full-time and part-time scouts who asses players at matches before they go before the Manchester United coaches.
This means that you need to be playing for a Town or District team, or a good Sunday team to be noticed and invited to Carrington and not just your school team.
United suggests that their scouting network is so big that if you are playing a good level of competitive football you will be assessed by one of their regional scouts.
How to Get a Trial at Manchester United Academy
As previously stated, Manchester United do not hold open trials and you must be spotted by one of their scouts and invited for a trial.
Trials could be a one-off training session or an extended trial of a week or three weeks, if you live out of the 10-mile catchment area it is not unusual for players to train with them in school holidays until they turn 16 and become scholars.
Joining one of United’s soccer schools is a good way to get yourself in front of coaches and scouts as they are open to anyone.

Manchester United academy is a category one academy who train at the Aon Training Complex in Carrington.
Opened in 2000 the training complex replaced The Cliff, where some academy games are still played.
United offers an advanced football development and education program with a number of dedicated coaches at all age groups.
