Recognising the importance of securing an exceptional General Manager to shape the academy’s future direction, Seth sought a company he could trust to deliver a competitive and high-quality shortlist of candidates. CHALLENGE:
The recruitment process presented several challenges. First, there was an urgent need to fill the role, requiring Jobs4football to act swiftly while maintaining quality. Additionally, PASS Abu Dhabi required a shortlist of 3-5 candidates who not only met these criteria but were also ready to relocate quickly without issue. PASS had no internal candidate management system so that was entirely outsourced to Jobs4football via their internal bespoke CMS system. PASS also had no internal resources to support the process.
Another obstacle was communication. Seth Amoafo’s busy schedule meant limited availability for calls or meetings, requiring Jobs4football to maximize every interaction and extract critical information efficiently. Balancing these factors while delivering top-tier candidates within the agreed timeline added complexity to the project.

A proactive marketing campaign was launched, utilising Jobs4football’s internal database, targeting passive candidates through proactive sourcing, and deploying social media campaigns and targeted marketing to maximise reach.
The team worked tirelessly, screening over 160 CVs and engaging with proactively sourced candidates before narrowing the pool down to a final shortlist of four exceptional profiles for Seth’s review. Throughout the process, Jobs4football maintained clear communication despite Seth’s demanding schedule, ensuring transparency and efficiency at every stage which was so important to this case study.
