Norwich City Football Club is excited to present a new opportunity within the Catering Team for an enthusiastic and talented Sous Chef to work in our exciting kitchen in Yellows Bar and Grill. This opportunity offers the successful applicant a fulfilling role in a team-focused environment.
In a fast paced and varied environment, we are searching for excellent communicators with an open-minded attitude. The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate experience working in a high-quality catering business, with a track record of operating to high standards under pressure.
The successful applicant will be involved in preparing and serving a variety of food items across Yellows Bar and Grill. They will support the Head Chef with recipes, stock and financial elements of the role and support in the Head Chef’s absences. They will have the opportunity to work as a key member of a busy team on matchdays, taking responsibility for their area of service.
Other key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring all recipes as set are followed accurately to maintain high levels of quality
- Lead by example for the team, including junior and casual chefs and kitchen porters
- Manage stock levels and storage areas and monitor cost of sales
- Assist with maintaining and recording all aspects of Food Hygiene to meet Health and Safety Legislation and Requirements and the Club’s Food Management System
