Job Description

Reporting into the Lead Youth Development Phase Coach, the part-time Individual Development Coach will be responsible for the week to week management and support of the individual players within the Under 15 team.  The coach will need to plan and deliver individual sessions along with team sessions.

Responsibilities:



  • Develop individual players within the U15 squad – allowing the elite players within the group to achieve their maximum potential.

  • Devise IDP sessions that are technical and tactical, in line with the CPFC playing philosophy and player needs.

  • Ensure cohesion and management of individual players in your squad.

  • Assist the Lead Coach in the management and development of elite YDP players

  • Set, monitor and develop high quality professional standard and team ethic for the players.

  • Implement individual learning plans for players.

  • Work in collaboration with all Academy staff.

  • Work in line with the strategy as agreed by the club.

  • Support the annual review of the ‘game model’ content.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager

  • Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.


Experience and Qualifications:

  • UEFA B-License or higher

  • FA Advanced Youth Award

  • Experience of coaching at a Premier League or Football League Academy

  • Highly organized

  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed
