The Women's Technical Division are looking for a Women's Pathway Club Support Manager to work within the Club Talent Pathway. The role will work with a group of FA funded pathway programmes: Emerging Talent Centres (ETCs) and Pro Game Academies (PGAs), to support the development of more and better players for clubs and England Teams. The Club Talent Pathway has 2 key aims:
- To identify a diverse depth of talent through an inclusive and accessible player pathway
- To drive high quality player development within the club environment which focusses on performance demands
This role will be based at The National Football Centre, St. George's Park, and as this role will be supporting specific regions travel will be required.
About the TeamOur FA Technical teams support all aspects of Men's and Women's elite performance – including para football, the elite format of disability football that runs parallel to the mainstream game – so we can help England teams to win tournaments.
Our teams manage everything from identifying talent to the development and coaching of multi-disciplinary teams throughout the age groups, up to our Senior England teams. To deliver against our goal we have invested heavily in developing a team of exceptional people capable of creating winning England teams at our world-class training facilities at our National Football Centre, St. George's Park
What You'll Do?
- Be a single point of contact and support for a region, in the delivery of FA funded club programmes (Emerging Talent Centres and Pro Game Academies).
- Support clubs and centres to develop and deliver an outstanding programme which focusses on player development.
- Be responsible for the development and delivery of a club based blueprint for a cohort of PGAs, and a delivery framework for ETCs across The Club Talent Pathway
- Provide regular feedback on the player development within FA funded club programmes
- Support club action planning in response to the system audit process
- Plan and prioritise a schedule of regular communication and visits to clubs / centres within the region
- Support the workforce development of FA funded programmes
- Ensure effective collaboration across the Girls Talent System in the identification of talented players
- Ensure effective collaboration with England National Teams to best support player development and preparation
- Ensure effective partnership working with key stakeholders to diversify the base of talent entering the Talent Club Pathway
- Support clubs to deliver a challenging games programme for all players
- Contribute to the wider direction, planning and review of the club pathway
- Deliver key projects or specialist responsibilities as outlined by the Lead Womens Club Support Manager
- Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.
- As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.

- Coaching qualification to Level 3

- Understanding of other nations and sports talent systems
Experience
- Experience in women's sport

Technical Skills
- Basic use of data analysis tools
Please note that ability to travel to the different Regions will be required. You will also need a full, clean driving licence.
An Enhanced DBS will need to be undertaken prior to starting in role.
