Salary: Range 28-30 of the NJC pay framework for Support Staff, £42,222 - £44,354 per annum (reduced to £4,310.80 - £4,528.48 per annum pro rata) to reflect the reduced working nature of this role. Standard practice is to appoint at bottom of scale.

Huddersfield New College Sports Academy is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and enthusiastic coach to lead on the highly successful Women’s Football Academy. The Women’s Football Academy entered its 22nd year at the college, and in this time the programme has enjoyed success at a regional and national level. Several players have gained National representative honours, and many have moved on to Football Scholarships in the USA. The programmes vision is to deliver high quality training and competition which is supported by outstanding facilities at the college.

Over the last 2 decades the programme has shown a proven track record for consistent performance and critical to that, is player development, in which players illicit the highest standards of behaviour both on and off the pitch, reflecting the colleges vision, mission and values.

Applicants should have the qualifications and experience that reflects the vision of the programme but also bring their own attributes that will enrich the programme further. Applicants must be able to work independently but where necessary contribute within the staff team. IT and social media skills will be beneficial to supports the profile and ongoing development of the programme.
