Ipswich Town Football Club is looking for a Women’s First Team Assistant Manager to join the Technical Team and play a pivotal role in cultivating a high-performance culture, that maximises player development to deliver high standard individual and team performances.

Your main responsibilities will be:
• Playing a critical role in the implementation and execution of the season's overarching objectives, as well as individual game objectives that align with our philosophy, style, and vision.
• Lead on ensuring that all players have SMART objectives and development plans in place and such plans are reviewed regularly.
• Understand and respond to the unique learning styles and feedback of individual players, utilising the appropriate tools to enable effective absorption of information.
• Working with the multidisciplinary team as necessary to offer a comprehensive perspective to players regarding their performance and development.
• Deliver personalised coaching support in line with player IDP’s to achieve optimal player and team performance.
• Assist with talent identification efforts by observing athletes during training sessions, competitive matches and video analysis.
Who are you?
• Experience of working as an elite level coach/manager within professional football.
• The ability to build and maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
• A demonstrated history of preparing, executing, and evaluating demanding training programmes within a high-level football environment.
• An excellent communicator and listener, who can adapt their management to the unique learning styles of individual players.
• It is essential that you can work flexibly, with the ability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• You will be comfortable in a busy, fast paced environment.
• You will be organised, able to meet deadlines and keep calm under pressure.
• You will be outgoing, enthusiastic and passionate about your work.
